Ada Lovelace died in 1852 at the young age of 36 due to cancer. Ada’s life reveals that she was a highly educated, highly motivated, and highly creative individual, who also conquered the ability to express her detailed and confusing concepts to the majority in such a way that everyone was able to understand. She was a not only a woman before her time, but an inventor before her time. In the Victorian Age, when women were not encouraged to challenge ideas or to be challenged intellectually, Ada broke molds and her success and recognition is still noted today, as she is a part of the foundation of our wide world of technology today.
